HOCKEY SCIENCE: Jackson Hogan (Grade 4) and Lexi MacLennan (Grade 5) of St. Mary’s Education Centre in Sherbrooke were among participants in the 2024 Strait Regional Centre for Education (SRCE) science fair, which took place at the NSCC Strait Area Campus on April 9. The duo donned their hockey sweaters to present their project - The Best Puck - which studied the highest quality puck used for Canada’s beloved sport. Several companies express interest in Goldboro lands

GOLDBORO — With a major parcel of land about to change hands in the Goldboro Industrial Park, the Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG) is on the cusp of a new wave of economic development, especially from renewables, says MODG’s Chief Administrative Officer Barry Carroll.
