New business newspaper launched
GUYSBOROUGH - A new monthly business newspaper for Guysborough, Antigonish, Richmond and Inverness counties has been launched this week. The East Nova Business Report is a publication of Addington Publications Ltd., publisher of the Guysborough Journal.
Publisher Allan Murphy says the time is right for the Strait Area to have a news publication dedicated to happenings in business.
"There's so much taking place right now in our local business community. From marine-based activity to planned large-scale industrial projects, to retail, tourism and traditional industries, activity is happening in every sector. Business owners and operators in the Strait Area want and need to stay abreast of current happenings and plans for the future," says Murphy. "That's what the East Nova Business Report will deliver every month."
Murphy says the new Business Report will provide in-depth coverage of news and emerging issues, as well as a place for business owners and operators to communicate with each other and the larger community. "Everyone has an interest in the growth and development of Strait Area businesses. So although the paper is designed for people in business, our stories will really be of interest to everyone."
The East Nova Business Report is delivered free to all business addresses in the four counties. Copies are also available at area newsstands.
Addington Publications also publishes the monthly Highland Real Estate Guide for Antigonish, Guysborough, Richmond and Inverness counties; and other specialty publications.
